Girl King?

Was not Deborah the high-and-mighty Judge of Israel who feminist-sexist weakling-wimp Barak would not fight war without her leading the assault?

Judges 4:8 Barak said to her, "If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go."
Judges 4:9 And she said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." Then Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

And people are supposed to learn from history, then do better instead:

Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.

That "encouragement" and "hope" clearly does not mean repeating the same mistakes goofballs and nutjobs committed in past history.

The feeling to cave in to feminist sexism was also the case with somewhat-presumptuous Ahasuerus (sometimes miscalled "Xerxes") as recorded in the Old-Testament book of Esther, when the king (like danceress-enticed Herod) said to Esther:

Esther 5:3 And the king said to her, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom."
Esther 5:6 And as they were drinking wine, the king said to Esther, "What is your petition? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled."
Esther 7:2 And on the second day, as they were drinking wine, the king again said to Esther, "What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled."
Mark 6:23 And he vowed to her, "Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom."

"Half the kingdom" - whatever that would have meant, with all the power and rulership possibilities implied.

Remember, partially-presumptuous Ahasuerus is the same one who foolishly had first appointed the non-compliant rebellious-beauty Vashti as his queen, and also promoted the wickedly-antisemitic Haman to the equivalent of the Persian Vice-Presidency. Fortunately, the king had a basically good heart, and his sense of justice and love for the Jewess Esther just barely overcame his presumptuous blind-spot stupidities.

And then the feminist sexist cite some New-Testament woman teacher(s)/preachers(s) correcting a male adult:

Acts 18:26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him and expounded to him the way of God more accurately.

[Pardon me concerning my lack of knowledge about the gender of Aquila, but the same Priscilla sure sounds female to me].

Now, I realize that on open televised airwaves, women (and men, if they so choose) can temporarily tune in and be intrigued, amused, and entertained by the spunky and sharp-minded clergy-collar-wearing mophead "Pastor Melissa Scott" and other squirrely-minded women like her.

As long as we are on the subject of women's place in religion as compared to civil and secular government, let's explore Holy Writ pertaining to such.

There are prohibitions galore, throughout not only the Old Testament but even and especially the New, against women leading, being in charge over, and instructing men.

This regardless of the cooperative or competitive conditional similarity (though not "equality") of women (having souls, moral responsibilities, and eternal destinies - dissimilar to soul-less animal pets) compared to men:

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

The Holy Spirit used Saint Paul with Paul's unique but at times foolishly-absurd theological utterances as His mouthpiece:

2Peter 3:15 And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
2Peter 3:16 speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.
2Peter 3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability.
2Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Perhaps you do not think Paul ridiculously weird to claim that he "had died, and his life was hid in Christ" (though not telling you about the color of his casket, what funeral home he reposed within, or what cemetery he was buried in)....or about his resurrection like Christ. Or how about: "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me" - like physically jumping over the Moon whenever he felt frisky enough? And I could go on and on with his other seemingly-preposterous proclamations.

Obviously, there are differences - [to balance the one-sided statement of Galatians 3:28] - between Jew and Greek, slave and free, male and female all throughout Scripture.... all of which Paul himself makes distinctions in describing the advantages of the Jew contrasted with the Gentiles, of slaves compared to employers/masters in the book of Philemon and elsewhere in his epistles, and of male leadership requiring the subordinate submission of females.

For example, as to who of what gender should and should not be ordained and appointed a "bishop" or a "deacon" in terms of ecclesiastical church organizations, we discover that:

1Timothy 3:2 Now a bishop must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, an apt teacher,
1Timothy 3:12 Let deacons be the husband of one wife, and let them manage their children and their households well;
Titus 1:6 .... if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of being profligate or insubordinate.

Concordantly, no ladies can be ordained nor appointed church bishops, nor deacons, nor (by extended but logical implication) church council nor church board nor vestry members nor Sunday-service lectors nor Sunday-service acolytes nor ushers)....and thank God that orthodox and fundamentalist old-order Catholics still have this operationally correct in actual practice for Sunday morning church services!

By so doing, the sexually-harassing sounds of potentially-erotic female voices are gratefully absent:

Song 2:14 O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is attractive.

"Rev" Melissa Scott and others immodestly hairstyled (particularly newswomen anchors, reporters, and commentators on TV) are admittedly obnoxious to look at because of their blatant mopheadedness, as verse 5 of the following verses from Song of Solomon chapter 7 plainly reveals:

Song 7:1 How graceful are your footsteps in sandals, royal maiden! Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of a master hand.
Song 7:2 Your navel is a rounded bowl that never lacks mixed wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat, encircled with lilies.
Song 7:3 Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.
Song 7:4 Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon, overlooking Damascus.
Song 7:5 Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.
Song 7:6 How fair and pleasant you are, O loved one, delectable maiden!
Song 7:7 You are stately as a palm tree, and your breasts are like its clusters.
Song 7:8 I say I will climb the palm tree and lay hold of its branches. Oh, may your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the scent of your breath like apples,
Song 7:9 and your kisses like the best wine that goes down smoothly, gliding over lips and teeth.
Song 7:10 I am my beloved's, and his desire is for me.

And how many different men are presently married to and thus the husbands of sensuous sexpots flapping their chauvinistic-feminist jaws - whether on TV news broadcasts or from a pulpit lecturn?

It is NO joke.

Concerning the pro-homopervert ELCA (the so-called "Evangelical Lutheran Church in America") and other not-"liberal" but instead heretic deviates of certain other mainline denominations, the decay of the ELCA began with errant Greek texts used for their RSV New-Testament translation based upon the significantly-corrupt Westcott-Hort and Nestle Greek texts rather than the inerrant Scrivener-Trinitarian Greek Text of the New Testament in the KJV-reflective Erasmus-Beza-Elzevir-Stephanus traditions of autographically-faithful scholarship. They then acquiesced to satanic "equal-rights" laws of the worldly and godlessly demented - allowing women to be ordained, commissioned, rostered, and serving as church pastors...and from there cascading downward resulting in the ordaining, commissioning, rostering, and serving of homosexual pastors imposing "gay-marriage" blessings to the dismay of the remaining orthodox in the various synods:

Jude 1:3 Beloved, being very eager to write to you of our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
Jude 1:4 For admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly persons who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

But in case there needs to be more interpretive contextual clarification for the dull of mind, or for those of belligerant Doubting-Thomas bullheadedness:

Leviticus 27:2 "Say to the people of Israel, When a man makes a special vow of persons to the LORD at your valuation,
Leviticus 27:3 then your valuation of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
Leviticus 27:4 If the person is a female, your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
Leviticus 27:5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
Leviticus 27:6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
Leviticus 27:7 And if the person is sixty years old and upward, then your valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.

Numbers 30:8 But if, on the day that her husband comes to hear of it, he expresses disapproval, then he shall make void her vow which was on her, and the thoughtless utterance of her lips, by which she bound herself; and the LORD will forgive her.
Numbers 30:12 But if her husband makes them null and void on the day that he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning her pledge of herself, shall not stand: her husband has made them void, and the LORD will forgive her.
Numbers 30:13 Any vow and any binding oath to afflict herself, her husband may establish, or her husband may make void.

Isaiah 3:12 My people: children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. Oh my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths.

Ecclesiastes 7:27 Hey, this is what I found, says the Preacher, adding one thing to another to find the sum,
Ecclesiastes 7:28 which my mind has sought repeatedly, but I have not found: One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.
Ecclesiastes 7:29 Hey, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many devices.

Nahum 3:13 (paraphrased) Hey, your [army/navy/marines/air-force] troops are women in your midst. The [NY-Trade-Towers] gates of your land are wide open to your [Al Qaeda] enemies; fire has devoured your fortresses.

1Corinthains 11:1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
1Corinthains 11:2 I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I have delivered them to you.
1Corinthains 11:3 But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.

1Cointhians 14:34 the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.

1Timothy 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
1Timothy 2:9 also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel, not with decorated hair or gold or pearls or costly attire
1Timothy 2:0 but by good deeds, as befits women who profess religion.
1Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness.
1Timothy 2:12 I allow no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
1Timothy 2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
1Timothy 2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
1Timothy 2:15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with sobriety.

1Peter 3:1 Likewise you wives, be submissive to your husbands, so that some, though they do not obey the word, may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives,
1Peter 3:2 when they see your reverent and chaste behavior.
1Peter 3:3 Let not yours be the outward adorning with decoration of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing,
1Peter 3:4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable jewel of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
1Peter 3:5 So once the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves and were submissive to their husbands,
1Peter 3:6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are now her children if you do right and let nothing terrify you.
1Peter 3:7 Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.

Peter should know - he had a mother-in-law, who's fever was alleviated by the Lord.

As do I.
